ShalomSim (“we,” “us”) publishes travel guides and eSIM comparisons for Israel at shalomsim.com. This page explains what information we collect from visitors and how it's used.

Information we collect

We don't require an account or collect personal information to use this site. We do collect:

• Analytics. We use Vercel Analytics to see aggregate traffic patterns (pages visited, approximate location, device type). This data is anonymized and not tied to your identity.
• Local storage. The pre-departure checklist saves your checked items in your browser's local storage (shalomsim:checklist) so your progress persists between visits. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us.
• Email, if you contact us. If you email us directly, we retain that correspondence to respond to you.

Affiliate links

Many links on this site — particularly on the eSIM comparison page — are affiliate links to Airalo and Holafly. If you click through and make a purchase, we earn a commission at no extra cost to you. We don't receive any personal or payment information about your purchase — that transaction happens entirely between you and the provider, under their own privacy policy and terms.

Third-party sites

This site links to third-party providers (Airalo, Holafly, and others referenced in our guides). We're not responsible for their content or privacy practices. Review their policies directly before providing any information to them.

Cookies

We don't set first-party tracking cookies. Third-party services we link to (Airalo, Holafly) may set their own cookies once you leave this site.
